This beautiful Chun Mee has been sourced from South East China, where it was grown near the Yangtze River.
This is one of the oldest and most revered green teas in China, where tea has been cultivated and perfected over generations.
The taste is less bitter than most green teas, with a tangy citrus tone and a subtly sweet aftertaste. The tea has a strong vegetative, haylike aroma, reminiscent of open fields.
Chun Mee means 'valuable brow' and refers to the Chinese believing the shape of the tea leaves to be reminiscent of the eyebrows of traditionally beautiful Chinese women.
This tea has been sourced, sampled and tested by us at Lynch's Brew for quality, taste and aroma.
